If Sarah’s name sounds familiar, it is because she co-founded iconic shop The Cross with Sam Robinson in London’s chic Holland Park in 1996.

 

After 13 hardworking but magical years of selling the unique pieces with which The Cross became synonymous to discerning style-seekers she decided it was time for a complete change. Australian-born Sarah had always sought inspiration through travel and this was the time to hit the road again. She headed overseas and spent four years travelling and living in Andalucia, southern Spain, and adventuring in Goa and Jaipur, in India. She continued to discover beautiful global finds, visiting makers and creators and using her well-trained eye and love of artisan craft to not only source the special pieces but, crucially, to bring such skills and artistry to a wider market. She began selling online and holding pop up sales with Sara Conroy, ex director of the original Cross shop catalogue.

 

Now back in the UK, Sarah is based in Somerset. The county, which is known for its creatives, makers and shakers, provides the perfect base for her latest endeavour.
