14 ct rolled gold chain necklace with a waterfall effect of five vintage coral pendants with a twisted rolled gold top detail. 
 
Ros Badger formed Badger's Velvet in 2017. A unique re-purposed jewellery collection that skilfully blends precious metals with found elements, from Roman coins to fine antique Georgian pieces. 
Ros learned to crochet aged eight and since then has avidly continued her creative pursuits; be that in her professional life as a designer and writer to customising clothes, restoring antique furniture, gardening or cooking feasts.
A Textile graduate of Chelsea College of Art, Ros' career spans more than 35 years during which time she has designed for Betty Jackson, Johnson’s La Rocka, Margaret Howell, U2 and Marks and Spencer among many others.
Ros has always had a passionate belief in recovering beautiful objects and this compliments her instinct for contemporary sustainable living and her life long 'waste not, want not’ philosophy.
Her passion for making and her expert knowledge of design has been shared in the writing and publication of 9 successful books with publishers including Collins, Quadrille and Mitchell Beazley. Ros has regularly contributed to a number of magazines including Country Living and The Idler Magazine exploring the potential for transforming pre-loved materials into heirlooms for a future generation. 
 
In 2018 Ros began Badger's Velvet Underground a collective to help fellow creatives and artisans find buyers for their individual products. BVU is a curated group of designers and makers selling bi-annually in London and Somerset.
